This section explains the basic operations related to user inventory. User Inventory provides an easy-to-understand overview of your Atlassian cloud account usage. By deactivating unused accounts, you can reduce security risks and costs.

Display the user inventory screen

The user inventory screen is available to Atlassian organization administrators and site administrators.

1. Select “User Inventory” on the home screen.

Register your organization's API key

User Inventory require an organization administrator to create and set an API key for the organization. Click the "Organization API Key" button on the product data statistics screen to register your organization's API key. For details on registering an API key, please refer to Register your organization's API key.

Specify which active users to display

The activities displayed in the active user details below can be filtered by time period and site conditions.

1. You can select the period from “This month”, “Last 3 months”, “Last 6 months”, “Last 9 months”, “Last 1 year”, or “Last 2 years”. For example, if you select "Last 3 months" on March 5th, data from January 1st to March 5th will be displayed. The data does not cover the period from December 5th to March 5th.

2. Target site can be selected from sites owned by organizations registered with Register your organization's API key.
   
   

Active user details

The "Active User Details" section of the activity screen lists details for all users of the selected time period and site for each product.

Active user inventory

Users who have accessed the activity during the selected period will be shown as "active", and users who have not accessed the activity will be shown as "Inactive". By clicking the icon in the Activity column, you can see the times when users accessed each product. You can narrow down the users who are not accessing the product using the icon, select the target users with the checkbox on the right of the screen, and revoke product access by selecting the target users with the checkbox on the right of the screen.
