Privacy Policy

Ricksoft co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Ricksoft") has established this Privacy Policy to ensure the proper collection, use, protection, and security of Personal Information of TeamSpirit Connector for Jira users (hereinafter referred to as the “Users”).

1. Acquired Information and Purpose of Use

Ricksoft collects the following Personal Information from the Users, for the following purpose.

Ricksoft shall use Personal Information only to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use that Ricksoft have informed Users of.

Except as otherwise required by law, Ricksoft shall not provide Personal Information to any third party without prior consent of the person concerned.

2. Means of Collection of Personal Information

1. Ricksoft collects and process Personal Information in particular :

   1. When a Jira administrator registers the email address of a TeamSpirit registered User, online in Jira.

   2. When a registered TeamSpirit user registers a Jira work log

   3. When a TeamSpirit registered User voluntarily completes a customer survey or provide feedback on any of Ricksoft’s message boards or via email.

2. Ricksoft also collects and process Personal Information through TeamSpirit’s API.

3. When acquiring Personal Information, Ricksoft informs Users of the purpose of use or publicly announce it in advance.

3. Storage and Processing of Data

User’s Personal Information shall be stored on the Atlassian Cloud storage, by Atlassian Cloud.

The region where the data is stored depends on User’s Atlassian Cloud application. Personal Information managed by Atlassian Cloud is not covered by this Personal Information Policy and is subject to Atlassian Cloud’s Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. User’s Personal Information shall be stored as long as Users are using TeamSpirit Connector for Jira. Users can delete their Personal Information on Atlassian account settings screen. Personal Information shall be immediately deleted.

As a Japan based company, Ricksoft shall securely process User’sPersonal Information in Japan. On January 23, 2019 the European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision on Japan, allowing Personal Information to flow freely between the two economies on the basis of strong protection guarantees.

Ricksoft shall process User’s Personal Information as per our contractual relationship with the Users, in the meaning of art. 6.1 b GDPR.

Ricksoft shall properly manage Personal Information provided by Users in accordance with laws, regulations, and internal rules regarding Personal Information. In order to ensure the appropriate management of Personal Information, Ricksoft appointed a Personal Information protection manager and established an internal Personal Information protection system.

Ricksoft shall continuously educate and promote the protection of Personal Information to its executives and employees.

4. User’s Protection Rights

Users are entitled to the following data protection rights regarding the data that are directly gathered  by Ricksoft:

The right to access – Users have the right to request Ricksoft for copies of their Personal Information.

The right to rectification – Users have the right to request Ricksoft to correct any information they believe to be inaccurate. Users also have the right to request Ricksoft to complete the information they believe to be incomplete.

The right to erasure – Users have the right to request that Ricksoft to erase their Personal Information, under certain conditions.

The right to restrict processing – Users have the right to request that Ricksoft restrict the processing of their Personal Information, under certain conditions.

The right to object to processing – Users have the right to object to Ricksoft’s processing of Users Personal Information, under certain conditions.

The right to data portability – Users have the right to request Ricksoft to transfer their Personal Information that Ricksoft has collected, to another organization, or directly to them, under certain conditions.

If Users make a request, Ricksoft has one month to respond. Users can contact Ricksoft to exercise their rights using the following contacts:

The right to report a complaint – User haves the right to contact the competent Surveillance Authority in the case, we have not addressed User’s concern in a satisfactory manner.

5. Continuous Improvement

Ricksoft shall periodically check and audit the operation of Ricksoft’s Personal Information protection system to ensure that it is being properly operated.

Ricksoft shall periodically review our system for the protection of Personal Information and continuously improve it in light of changes in circumstances and social trends.

6. Updates to Ricksoft’s Privacy Policy

Ricksoft may update this Policy in the future. Ricksoft shall notify Users via the Atlassian Marketplace, and email of the privacy policy changes and the effective date. If this application is launched after the effective date, Users shall be deemed to have agreed to the changes.
